	WORKSHOP The Garment as Sculpture: A Fiber Arts Adventure Beginning Sat., Sept. 4th In this course, participants will create a small, non-wearable sculptural model of a fantasy garment using a variety of materials. Incorporate inspiring imagery and emotive expression into the content, concept, and form of the sculpture. Students will consider the history and function of fashion, and even derive inspiration from the sculptures in the Park! Students will learn a variety of skills in working with fiber arts and non-traditional materials during weekly demonstrations, and will be assisted in moving their ideas and sketches to a finished sculptural piece.
